For no other reason than to lift an idea from a Monty Python sketch I thought I'd start a Word Association football sketch. (seeing as we already have a tune association football threadbare your soul man)

However, in an attempt to set some 'rules' may I suggest we only use brass band pieces as our base for the association football) i.e.

Isaiah 40 Days and 40 Nights in White Satin Doll.

The Land of the Long White Cloud Cover Your Eyes Right Said Fred Dineage

The Floral Dance of the Comedians Galloping Home on the Range Rover

The Essence of Time to Remember, Remember the Fifth of November

Mid All The Traffic Light As Air on a G String Along

Mods, please move this to Random Chat where I intended to post it. Thanks! ;-)

Edit: Done! (dyl)

The 'association' is the last word of a phrase which can be linked as the first word of another. For instance

Isaiah 40, take the 40 to use for '40 days and 40 nights'. Take the word 'nights' to start a new phrase 'Nights in white satin', then take the word 'satin' to start another phrase 'Satin Doll'

It's not clever or funny, but I just thought I'd try and encourage those of a Monty Python bent (where this sort of thing originated) to join in!
