What does B.B. and C.F. stand for?

Hi guys,

on listen to the band, Frank Renton referred the B.B. and C.F. march to 'British Bandsman and Conductors Forum'.

I always thought it stands for 'British Bandsman & Contest Field'?

Can someone enlighten me please?

definitely "British Bandman and Contest Field" - it was composed by the magazine's editor J Ord Hume (and yep, I know I'm a geek!)

Maybe Frank was just testing if people were actually listening.....
