I know you specify the old shape, but if you're really stuck I've got one of the new shape, only slightly used and in perfect nick. It's still in it's box.
You can have it for £15 + postage if it's any good to you.

Thanks for the offer. I do have a "new" style 2L in my collection, but don't think the new models are a patch on the old ones.

I totally agree - I just couldn't get on with it as it was a bit small for me, but I actually disliked the shape as well.
The old shape is much more "Friendly" isn't it ?
I very quickly went back to my old 2L.

Indeed it is. I currently use a 24W but am noticing that I'm becoming more and more obsessed about the fussing I get with note production, and this might help?
