To the lads, from the ladies!

In reply to Well Worth It's message!! :)

This is the fairy tale that we should have been reading as little girls!
Once upon a time,
in a land far away,
a beautiful, independent,
self-assured princess
happened upon a frog as she sat,
contemplating ecological issues
on the shores of an unpolluted pond
in a verdant meadow near her castle.
The frog hopped into the princess' lap
and said: Elegant Lady,
I was once a handsome prince,
until an evil witch cast a spell upon me.
One kiss from you, however,
and I will turn back
into the dapper, young prince that I am
and then, my sweet, we can marry
and setup housekeeping in your castle
with my mother,
where you can prepare my meals,
clean my clothes, bear my children,
and forever
feel grateful and happy doing so.
That night,
as the princess dined sumptuously
on a repast of lightly sauteed frog legs
seasoned in a white wine
and onion cream sauce,
she chuckled and thought to herself:

I don't think so.

Great story! If only it were true...

Can we lock this post in some way that only lady-posters can get on to it? Then we can say what we really think about them and their socks, their snoring, their cars, their sport, their egos, their "bits and peices", their scratching </rant>

while we sit here trying not to mention the mood swings, the complaining, the massive underwear, the inferiority complex, the constant abuse, the jealousy, the mistrust.......

You forgot the persecution complex and the latent sexism...

nb. i'm not a woman hater... i just like to exagerate their foibles...

Leave my foibles out of this!

I'm going to say something controversial:

 I ACTUALLY QUITE LIKE MEN
they're kinda cute, but they are fairly irritating, in the same way that pets are. Come to think of it...

Mods, can we stop this one now before it gets out of hand? I foresee handbags at dawn...

We outnumber Sparkly 6-to-1 so am not worried! ;)

Handbags at dawn aren't a problem in themselves BMB, it's all the stuff that females keep in them that can be quite dangerous..

Not just handbags, it's whereever they can keep it.

Cars
Backpacks
Drawer after Drawer after Drawer
Bathroom Vanities....

you know, I can carry most of the stuff I need throughout the day in my pockets!

Lol, good one kate!

I tend to keep all the things I need for the day in my pockets as well, no need for a handbag! Also be quite embarassing if I did have one! :?

Yes but your pockets reach the ground...
And I've never carried a car in handbag.

tMP is a bastion of male something-ness! We do not have equality on the mod front! And they admit it?!
More female mods! More female mods! Either that or Sparkly gets a triple vote on everything.

Actually the mods do a wonderful job, I respect all of them equally, I am in awe of their dedication, some of them are on here at all times of the day and night. You'd think they didn't have jobs or homes to go to.

it always amazes me how men can fit a phone, house keys and a wallet into there pockets... mind you the wallets are normally very small and sealed shut from years of neglect..
