Things to do in September

Right, so I finish work on the 3rd of September, but don't start Uni till the 27th, so that leaves a lot of vegetating time...

So, what could I do in September that would be more interesting than lying on the sofa, eating sandwiches? To be honest I'll try anything, as long as it costs less than about £40...

(since no one wants me as a trombone player apparently...)

Relax and make the most of having a break... I've had 4 months off uni and it's been nice, although I'm looking forward to getting stuck into my final year...

selling your body wont even cost YOU £40 .... :wink: and drinking and sleeping is always a good way to spend 3weeks. if ur lookin for something stimulating, then how about taking up gym or something ready for all those foxy ladies at uni? but if u cant be arsed how about learning how to knit, cos if they dont fancy you, u can make them a jumper. 8)

Study - :? so u don't have to do do any work when u get back to uni!
Go on lots of lovely bike rides in the sun and get really fit...
Bake cakes - I did that yesterday! :D
roll down hills...
Go out in the rain and get really wet and muddy...
 
Celebrate my Wedding on the 4th ! :D

Buy me a drink at the Harrogate Nationals on 11/12th (mind you, that might cost you more than 40 quid !) :lol:

If it's beer, then sadly it's 1 drink and I'm anybody's, 2 and I'm everybody's, 3 and you can use me as a rug! :oops:

Whiskey/whisky, now, and it's a different story. It might be to do with quantity over quality :?:

Well I haven't got a free weekend this year:
1st - Wedding anniversary and sister's baby due
2nd - My birthday and sister's baby due
3rd - Party in Lincoln and sister's baby due
4th - Nantwich Beer Festival and sister's baby due

October:
1st - Band birthday party
2nd - Holiday with the Jessop-Smythes
3rd - Holiday with the Jessop-Smythes
4th - Possibly Pontins

November
1st - tMP Big Bash Ball Birthday Party thingy
2nd - Afternoon gig, evening concert and Remembrance Day Parade
3rd - Breathe sigh of relief and pull self together in time for Xmas carols every night until 26th December

I can't tink of anything for you to do. Sorry.

Considering the weather at the moment - if you're really skint just pray that the sun will shine again for a week and it will be lovely and hot again then you can enjoy beer, bbq's, going on all day'ers...... 8)

Or just get yourself down to the travel agent and get a late minute holiday for sun,sea, sand, sleep and anything else you may need before you start Uni!!! 8)

The choice is yours!!!

You could come and help me do all my college work before i go back, lots of reading to do, and a UCAS statement to write. And while you're not doin that, you can make coffee and tidy my room and walk the dog and carry round my books at college and do my ironing....

Go out for a swim ... I've been doing that recently. I've still got no stamina but it's a welcome and refreshing bit of exercise.

Oooops, I swore, I'm sorry, I won't mention exercise again ....... :(
