My mother has always said my father and I must've had a near death experience and switched bodies. We look exactly alike but I like the music of his era, and he, mine.

well i was brought up with music from abba, buddy holly, shaddows, patsy cline and also paul young, pet shop boys and micheal jackson

I've got Cliff Richard's first ever album, with The Shadows before they became The Shadows. They started life as The Drifters but got sued by a well-known Motown band of the same name...
Guitars are my second-favourite non-brass instruments after pianos.

I read that Hank Marvin has refused his OBE for personal reasons.The rest of the group accepted though.I like the Shadows.

In the same way that Cliff was the British Elvis, I always felt that Hank Marvin was the British Buddy Holly. ALthough not dead.

Our Dad used to go to the Two Eyes Coffee Bar in London where all those cats hung out in the 50s. He was more of a James Dean. Although obviously also not dead.

I've also thought of myself as a Patsy Cline. With the obvious difference

I'm sorry, I have an ear infection and it's sending me off balance in more ways than one. :roll:
