I will be down supporting Bon Acoord as i am not playing at this one. Never mind! Oh dear i have to be up in five hours to catch the bus down. Hope that happens!!!! too much beer tonght!

Anyway good luck to all the bands that are going down and lets hope everyone plays well, should be a good contest with a wide variety of pieces and lets hope everyone plays well!

Also i would just like to say good luck to Abereen City Youth brass band for their contest too, should hopefully play well also!!! Will be listening to as many bands as i can in the time that i aint in the bar. hope to see people there.

Thankyou! Unfortunately the adjudicators didn't, saying it was too easy and didn't stretch the soloists enough. Not really very encouraging as I think it's a belting piece of MUSIC, even if it doesn't involve jumping up and down and unintelligible fireworks ;-)

- I wasn't the only one who had that opinion. I thought it was a brave choice as not much RSA features enough in contests nowadays.

'Mon the Whitburn!! Must be the bawbag on percussion- onward! When I saw the draw I thought immediately about the Masters, glad this time it was lucky!! Well done! :)

personally i thot i was up for 4br best soloist with my susp cymbal at the end of vienna nights.lol great result and glad hard payed off. congrats to all the winners

Any of the competing bands wanting photos of your performance send me a pm. I got all bands except Kirkintilloch Kelvin and SWT Woodfalls. Sorry about that but I had to be elsewhere while you were on.

At least you'll not have a photo of me panicing on stage when my 1st valve stuck down just before starting Endevour then John?!!!!
