the newest tMP social! (oh no not another one!)

Well, as you can see by the title, I've conceived a new tMP social! this time though, I'm thinking of something a little different. Last time it was manchester, the next will be manchester, then birmingham... there will be more I'm sure, but how about one in Dublin? was thinking the other day, and dublin is cool, and is a very nice day out, as well as the night life. you can get there for a tenner with ryanair sometimes, and hostels may be a bit mingin, but at £10 a night, I'm not complaining!

Anyway, was just wondering what peoples thoughts were, say for next summer (have to start early!). not sure if people would want to take instruments or not, may be a bit impractical. So what do you all think?

sorry to "wee" on ur bonfire...but the £10 airfare sounds good.... but u gotta add about £28.40 each way airport tax!!!! SCANDALOUS!!! otherwise sounds like a great weekend away and if u get enough u can get some discounts at hostels and stuff? :lol:

yeah okey dokey.. how long you thinkin of staying? if it was more than a few days, should get in touch with a local band and organise a scratch concert or somethin...
another thing. you need to know where your going drinking wise in dublin, dont head for the touristy parts, beer is poo and expensive!!!

oh well, I'm not bothered what we do when we're there, but it may be cheaper overall for everyone to go there than it is to meet up somewhere else. anyway, just a suggestion, and hopefully with six months to get organised, it can go very well!
