The Event - for those who are staying over

Right, it's about time I posted something about this, there are a couple of hotels we have been looking at in the close vicinity of the mailbox and new street station:

1) As has been mentioned in another thread, The Copthorne is fairly cheap and nearby. The quoted price is £24.50pp for a double room.

========== HOTEL CONTACT DETAILS ============

Name: Copthorne Hotel Birmingham
Tel: 0121 200 2727 Fax: 01212001197
Email: resbirmingham@mill-cop.com
www: http://www.copthornebirmingham.activehotels.com/
Address: Paradise Circus, Birmingham, West Midlands, B3 3HJ, UK

2) The other possibility is The Britannia, I'm not sure upon the relative distance between the station/mailbox and here, but I don't think it's any further away than the copthorne is. The quoted price is £32.50pp for a twin room, however, twin rooms are available in this hotel. I am reliably informed that this is where the mods will be staying.

Just booked in the Brittania. It may be a bit more expensive but I detest copthorne hotels.

Not only that, if you book online with Brittannia, you get £20 to spend at virgin wines :D
See you all there

Me too. Cheap nasty chainy things. And £20 off a case of wine is not to be sniffed at. It's to be savoured, rolled gently around the tongue and spat delicately into the receptacle provided. Or your nearest and dearest as you prefer... 8)

Hey Twisty, you bored again yet? You could make a list of who's staying where....

BMB who is getting very excited by this. Maybe I'll even meet Alan Titchmarsh in the BBC corridors!!!!

Opportunity of a lifetime!

Hello everybody!

For various reasons, I am now looking for someone to join our party!

preferably applicants will be young (yet at least 18 please!) and female to share a room.

The rooms are Twin rooms, and the other sharee is a young lady, who is very easy to get on with, and goes by the name CornetGirl.

All applications will be considered, although it will probably be first come first serve so to speak, so if you enjoy a good time, then send me a pm!

Technical info:

The hotel is the Britannia, and the cost will be £32.50 Including breakfast I think.

• In the event of a no show or a cancellation with less than 1 day notice prior to the date of arrival, an amount equivalent to 0% of the total booking value will be charged.
Just spotted this on the Brittannia hotel website. Great, if anyone does have to pull out at the last minute, it won't cost you a penny :)
