to Peeter Out is an expression referring to exhaustion, wearing down etc. So for the bass trom to "Peter Owt" basically implies he's outta puff!!!

Shall we have a week's seminar on this? ;-)

I know what the term refers to, but I've never been out of puff on any orchestral piece before! (although I've not played a particularly large amount, and it's probably because I can play at half the volume in an orchestra!)

Read as "I can play twice as loud as the orchestra"

One you forgot, Dave, was the Vocal coach for the semi-chorus: Emma Driggle (England)

Who said Dave was in his right frame of mind? As he's a recidivist long model cornet player, we have to express doubts about whether there really is a mind in there. :)

Oh, BTW Dave, couldn't you write Otto Scheidt to get around the beep problem?

The Indian one works better as Gerupta Singh.

I wasn't studying it that intently to really care whether it should be Greupta or Getupta! ;-)

In any case, I'd just like to know what a 'pricr' is....

Where's Ben Dover?

I can vouch for the truth of this as I have the very same CD. And good it is too. I especially like "Tomorrow the Fox will come to Town" with the instrumental sections/ritornelli? Fabulous :bounce
