Sunday Bandstand weekly brass band programme 11 February 2018

Hello Brass Banders and welcome to another two hours of music from the world of brass bands. As always we have a fine eclectic mix of music for you to enjoy. We have bands from around the world and some fabulous soloists.

Max Bruch, the composer, conductor and teacher was born in 1838 and died in 1920. To celebrate the 180th anniversary of his birth we have a wonderful arrangement of his second movement (the adagio) from his Violin Concerto No. 1, in G minor, Op. 26 (1866), which is one of the most popular Romantic violin concertos.

Don't forget if you have a request or a question about the world of brass bands you can always contact me through my email: or through my website:

Enjoy the show
