Any additional comments/Information: Am currently registered with a 4th section band, as am unable to commit myself full time to rehearsals etc due to work. Previously studied at Salford University, and have played for Marple, BT, Northop, Rhos, and Wrexham Bands. Would require use of a Bb Cornet if required on that instrument

Hi Gavin. Just out of interest when did you play for Marple? I was there from 1993 to 1995 and really enjoyed myself. It was just the travelling that killed it for me, coming from Huddersfield.
I know they have been struggling a bit over the last year but are begining to rebuild the band.
Hope they succeed.

I was at marple just after they won the open in 96 for about a year, and yeah, it's a pity they are going through a bad spell at the moment cos everyone who i know who is involved with the band are such nice people as well.
