Solo Trombone for Midlands 1st Section Band

Brackley & District Band currently have a vacancy on Solo Trombone.

We rehearse in Brackley (M40 Junction 11 10 miles, M1 Junction 15A 15 miles) at our own band club on mondays and fridays between 7.30 and 9.30.

We currently have a (almost) full band. Engagements later this year include various contests, a concert with Alan Morrison and a trip to Germany.

Trombone

Not quite sure if I am up for solo trombone in a 1st section band, but would be willing to audition.

I am moving to Watford from the States this August and have been playing baritone in a Championship (USA) band. I'm not quite sure what the difference in USA vs. Midlands equates to, but would be willing to give it a go.

Brackley Brass (Midlands 2nd section from January 2014) require the following to complete our line up:- Front/Back row cornets, 2nd Euphonium, Solo or 2nd Baritone, 2nd Trombone, Eb bass & more percussionists.
