Bones Apart Quartet
BROWN SHIPLEY CONCERT HALL 7.30PM

Carol Jarvis | Becky Smith | Rebecca Harper | Lorna McDonald
This award-winning all-female trombone quartet was founded at the RNCM in 1998 and has rapidly gained international recognition. For this concert they present an extremely varied programme full of surprises from their second CD. They will also include highlights from CD no.3 - now in the planning - with world premières by Gary Carpenter and Paul Clay. All this, combined with an array of favourite tunes and the sort of stunning virtuosity scarcely credible on a trombone…

Are the concerts being recorded? I'd love to hear the Birtwistle pieces but can't make it that night.

Must be worth a pint - at least!
