4th Section Results:

1. Holywell
2. Skelmanthorpe
3. Nantlle Vale

Congratulations to Holywell - an excellent result coming only a few months after re-forming I believe.

Well I know for a fact that only 4 bands competed in the 4th Section, so I take it Ireland were 4th then! ;)

Gutted about Northop in the Youth Section - i heard they came 3rd on music points and were let down the entertainments/deportment. Not heard the adjudication yet.
Thanks to Drummergurl for helping us out on percussion, and Paul Lovatt-Cooper for conducting the band in my absence. He was quite pleased with their performance, so thats all that matters. Hopefully it won't clash next year (was the festival 2 weeks later than normal this year?)

Well they managed the five parts with 4 percussionists when all we played was all five movements of Cry Of The Celts so they must have done something right

yeah i know i heard it backstage! ive played that piece and the percussion sounded good! i knew it were written for 5, although i never heard any wind chimes goin in! so oh well. anywayz i did think you were gonna get perc prize because of the standard the piece is and how much perc is involved! but i wouldnt have been able to say for sure as i only heard you backstage and then i had my own performance. that was all i heard
