Recording Concerts (audio & video)

hi all

following the success of a video produced from a band tour last year, my cousin and i have decided to do one to include the years concers (a year in the life of ....)

has anyone tried anything similar ?

also, i a thinking of using a portable minidisk player and a couple of external mic's to capture the sound and then over dub the sound to the video on the pc.

thoughts / comments / suggestions please.

Good idea! but make sure you have a copyright licence before you start. You could contact the MCPA, if they can't help they will probably know who or where can.

who are you going to sell it to?will sound quality matter, because as good as md technology is, the sound is less than sensational!
