Verwood Concert Brass Ladies played a concert in Verwood on 22 July 2013 as "Blushing Brass". Comprising of 32 ladies aged 12 to 75 from Verwood's Training Band, B Band and A Band they raised over £1600 for charity. The programme included a special composition from Derek Broadbent (for which the band are extremely grateful). The band was conducted by Kevin Smith and the music played was
