Just wondering, how often does your band have a job on?

When its busy, our Scout band has one or two a week, anyone else?

I said less than that, but it depends on the time of year, in the summer we have park gigs to do, starting in April we've got regular jobs at a hotel every week, sometimes its 2/3 a week in the summer with fetes and other stuff.

We average about 14 or 15 a year (sometimes as many as 20) Mostly in the summer for town celebrations and such.

SA corps bands are on for worship services every week.

The National Capital Band, as a regional ensemble, has a season that runs from September through May. We will have at least two weekend trips in a season, several gigs including a major concert and a radio broadcast around Christmas. We typically also do a couple of outdoor concerts at various memorials in downtown Washington, and sometimes support major Salvation Army events in the region (we are the closest band the the US National Headquarters, so we get tapped for events there on a regular basis). Over the year, we have about one gig a month, but they are not evenly distributed.

Depends on time of year. At Christmas especially, it can be two a week, but there are quiet times too (just after New Year).

We at Becontree had a busy summer and run in to Harrogate - a couple of weekends with two jobs on , but are having a quiet spell at present.
