Promoted to 1st section

Just like to share that Hopkins Blidworth Welfare Band have been promoted to 1st section from january 2007

Second, do you know if Foresters Brass 2000 and Shirland Traning have been promoted with you? As I believe (according to my dodgy table I worked out) we were all joint second and all would be promoted to the first section...

You're right Ollie. I have it on good authority that four bands will be promoted: Wigston, Shirland MW Training, Blidworth and Foresters Brass 2000. Should make an already full and very competitive Midlands 1st section very interesting next year!
