Will Ponts odds shorten if Mr Buckley is adjudicating?

Paddy, what odds are you giving on the Welsh Area 2011 thread still running by the time it's time for the 2012 contest?

Does the Welsh area usually have the same adjudicators year in, year out - normally there is a break before they return and why raise this point at all ?

Hasn't there been enough controversy and inuendo on the 2011 Welsh area thread without trying to spread it over to the 2012 contest ? For heaven sake give it a rest.

I must congratulate the Regionals panel after choosing some amazing pieces for next year’s contest. After purchasing the CD and have a good listen to the pieces about hundred times or more, I could honestly say that this year’s choices has been one of the best choices for the regional contests in years. Sunday’s championship section will be an amazing contest, Cory (British Open Champions), Tredegar (some amazing results this year!), Tongwynlais (congrats on the Scottish Open win!), Beaumaris (Nationals…say no more! :D), BTM and Northop, more than capable to produce excellent performances, and the two newly promoted bands Pontardulais and City of Cardiff (Melingruffudd) has been on form this year in the First section! And of course TWO bands have already qualified…Can’t wait, 108 days to go.

Any odds on Mr Morris, oops, sorry, no, the "Welsh Regional Committee" doing the right thing and allowing Wrexham to compete, perhaps without WR?

to a complete outsider that sounds like a pretty decent compromise

I think so too, although it was initially with tongue in cheek! it would put "them" in a very reasonable light and help save a good band.

Given the past with "them" I wouldn't hold your breath, though!!!
