Hello everyone. I am Barry, 77 years old, previously on here as eflatbass but I was unable to retrieve my old membership. I don't play these days, but still have a keen interest in bands, and I have been known to arrange 'one or two' pieces over the years. My favourite instrument is the euphonium, but I did have a long-standing love affair with the Eb bass. Learned to play in the Salvation Army (Dudley Citadel), and later joined a number of bands, ranging from 4th section to Championship. My favourite band is, and always will be, Black Dyke.

Thank you John. I actually remember you from when I was on here originally. My full name is John Barry Brookes! Incidentally, my father was Canadian.
