As our conductor, Jim Cant, continues to recover from a serious illness, Silk Brass is looking to appoint a Musical Director for a 12 month period (may be extended), to continue their development in their first year in the North West Area Championship section.
Silk Brass is a committed and friendly band that rehearses twice a week (Wednesday and Sunday evenings) at their bandroom on the A34 at Marton (between Congleton and Macclesfield). We are well established and have a good following in the area, with a varied programme of engagements throughout the year.
