Mr Clive Tong

It is with great sadness I write to advise of the death of Clive Tong - Contest Secretary to United Co op Band (Crewe).
He passed away this morning after a short illness and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him, especially we members of the Band who considered him as being just as much a part of the Band as ourselves.
I know many people knew him throughout banding and would like to express their condolences to his wife, Carol and family.

I was very saddened to read the news about Clive.

Although I didn't know Clive that well, he always used to make me feel very welcome on the occassions that I visted your Band Room.

He was a well respected and sincere man, and it must be a very sad loss to the Band.

Please pass on my condolences to Carol, Jeff and the members of the Band.
