Does anyone know where I can get hold of the music for "marianne"? Its a flugel solo that appears on "The Lighter side of Maurice Murphy" CD.

Don't think it's in print - something to do with copyright apparently......

There's a good arrangement by Adrian Drover - Just Music have it.

An arrangement is available for Big Band backing - used to love playing it there before I'd even heared of a brass band. Needs some improvisational skills but a lovely tune.

You may be able to contact him and see if any brass band backing is available. I have a feeling I did see it somewhere.

I have it with piano accompaniment. Arranged by Adrian Drover - got it from Just Music. I've heard it played with band though so it's possible to get it.

There is an arrangement by Adrain Drover, our band plays it and it is a lovely arrangement.

This is a lovely piece. Originally a NYJO chart. I've not heard the BB arrangement, if its even half as good as the big band version then it's worth getting. Not too difficult for the soloist either from what I remember . .
