Maestros Rule

Have just changed from a Maestro to a new Sovereign and, after struggling for months with top notes on the Maestro, am finding the Sovereign an improvement, personally I find it easier to blow and can acquire a better tone.

This is true, Especially the top A's - there a nightmare to place correctly - high notes in general are a struggle compared to other makes - but if you've got the lungs then perhaps theres more potential to develop a big sound?. They certainly are a much bigger blow than a sov.
Ive played on my bands maestro for 3 years and i find it blows easily and perfoms amazingly in the low register - wickedly low and loud low notes even on a 4B. I recon they make ideal back row cornets.
