Aware as I am that talking about sensitive legal cases such as this on public forums where no case has yet been proven, am I the only one to spot how unfortunate it is that one of the players concerned goes by the name of Paul Dickov?

It is a common joke here at the minute, some of the things the supporters have been having put on the back of their shirts instead of dickov are quite amusing even if they are crying out for legal proceedings!!!

I think it's generally quite an unfortunate name anyway, regardless of current circumstances!

Oh it is most unfortunate.
And it has played right into the hands of our university pub quiz team who tonight shall be using a pun on his name as our team name  to continue the trend of winning team names!...we are heralded as the unpolitically correct team and shall continue in the same vein tonight! :D

Most unfortunate. As were the charges as read out on the Scottish news on Friday night.

"Sexual Assualt and Forced Entry"

In all seriousness and not wishing to preclude the outcome of any court case; if these players are guilty then they should suffer the consequences of their actions.

Leicester's main sponsors, Walkers, have decided to cash in on the publicity of the footy team's recent trip to Spain and are releasing a new range of crisps, which they hope will prove popular. These are,

assault and vinegar,

ready assaulted,

pokey bacon,

sleaze and onion,

gang-roasted chicken

porn cocktail

Would you think it was so funny if it was your sisters involved, not some strangers in a different country? Sorry to be a party pooper, but I just don't think some things should ever be joked about.

It isn't a funny situation, especially for those involved. I have had a hunch right from the beginning that these guys have been set up. Personally just don't think they did it - although I could quite obviously be proved wrong. If they did do it they will get everything they deserve and maybe it will be a warning to all other badly behaved footballers.

However, innocent until proven guilty

There are obviously whispered allegations of a fit up job being banded about by the press. However a persons past conduct should not be used to prejudge them in the present. If there is sufficient evidence and a case to answer then they will be tried. In my opinion at worst these guys are the lowest form of life and at best they were extremely stupid given their own clubs history and the various scandals in football recently.

I hope you aren't suggesting these men are in the wrong. Whatever happened until innocent until proven guilty?!?!?!?!
NO, I am not a Leicester fan,
NO I dont think they were right to get involved in whatever happened and YES I will laugh at a funny joke regardless of who's expense it is at. Much like if it were me on trial I would still find the e-mail regarding Walkers crisps ammusing! I have a younger sister and would be fuming if it were her in this situation but that doesnt stop me appreciating good humour in the manner it was intended. Sorry if it does you.

I don't have an opinion on whether these men are guilty or not. It is my opinion, however, that some things just aren't ever funny, and its inappropriate to make jokes about them. Its just my opinion though, and it takes a lot more than a cr*p joke to offend me!
Like I said, sorry for being a party pooper.

How about this one

Difference between Man Yoo and Leicester? Leicester still have players in Europe....

Nothing to do with the reason they are there, or is this also offensive I do admit that it's not the nicest reason they are there, but there is also the option of not joining in with this thread.

To reiterate what Accidental said, perhaps people should consider what it would be like for them if it was say their sister, mother or wife. Then maybe they wouldn't be so flippant with their comments about what is considered offensive or not.
