It's good to see how bands have done
At Harrogate - some even won
With tMPers playing in their ranks;
I'm sure we want to give them thanks
For publicising t-M-P
And playing well -
I bet it was swell!

Okie, it's true I have to agree.
That even the chainsaw, would surely be
A finer reflection of personality
We think alike, you and me.

So it's agreed, Caroline's a cutie.
But she owes it to her hat, it's surely a beauty ;)
Now for the question to drive drooling lads insane
Can Caroline do a little dance with a cane ????

and the tap heels, and the suit, and the tails.............
Forgive me I jest
didn't mean to be a pest!

Boys....How sweet!
I think you have the wrong lady
I am one for a beer and some lamb meat (hmm, slightly dodgy sentence!)
And as for the dancing, well maybe!

A present too,
not a chainsaw or a hat
but melons for you,
and not on a big mat!

(2 stand alone poems,....not supposed to be the same rhyming pattern....tis very hard!)

She thinks your all sweet,
but you'll have to meet,
our darling Caroline.
a friend she is,
im sure you'll agree.

She does like her beer,
she likes to apear,
in avatars very very different.
she's surley a star,
but found at the bar,
with cane, and with beer,
she'll drive you alll,
erm mad! (i cant find a way to end my rhymes)

I've nothing to do, for a minute of two
So have some tea, and a piece of cake too
And consider the world, and whether or not
Jaffa cakes are biscuits or simply a blot
On the culinary planet, and would they attain
Delia's approval or do they fight in vain
To be recognised as greatness in these harsh times
When musicians are reduced to talking in rhymes

Eight thousand posts it is,
A milestone it is not,
So let’s post something silly
That is easily forgot!

theMouthPiece gives us all a chance
To say just what we like,
But if we make a song and dance
It’s “Coat” and “On yer bike"
;)

Raise a glass and drink some ale
For the eight thousandth post of Mr Bale
A mine of useful information
And puns and other humorous creation

i havent looked or posted in here in ages,
flugelgals location is funny and outrageous,
im off school with a throat infection,
thank god i didnt have to have an injection.

ive watched all the dvds in my house,
my dog isnt a mouse,
we 4got her birthday again,
i made mum do cake and jelly again.

im bad at rhyming,
not too bad at timing,
others may say otherwise,
dont 4get your ties!

naruco laughed at my dog isnt a mouse,
i couldnt think of anything to rhyme with house,
i watched the life of brian this morning,
might watch postman pat, amongst yawning.

now on to videos,
have to stand on my tippytoes,
to reach the thermometer,
wots a barometer?

chicken soup is wot ive been living off,
its the only thing i can scoff,
my throat is really painful,
even liquids are hurtful

Yes, I laugh at Sarah all the time,
Ooh, now what thing can I get to rhyme?
Sarah aint well, as she say,
but she needs to get better, perferably today!

With me? Oh now that's somewhat a secret.
Some gossip has been spreading, who'd like a buscuit?
I've escaped down south for a little while,
But will be back up Sunday, travelling for a many mile.

For now, I still think I'm no good
at writing these poems, oh look! Little Red Riding Hood!

I can sometimes be quite random,
But hey ho, that's me...
Look!!! There's a big bumble bee!!!!

naomi is pretty random,
not like a tandem,
ive never seen one of them,
look a hen.

postman pat awaits me,
i know all the words, but not the key,
im off for a while to watch tv,
c ya all l8r heehee.

It's usually right
If one keeps in sight
The subject of the rhyme

Rather than saying
Or even by praying
That something "reads" in time

I'm far from the best
Just look at the rest
Mine could be seen as a crime

But I'm not alone
(This isn't a moan)
Because I don't give a .... dime!

(Or something along those lines hastily composed during a lunch break)

:-D Why I like Cows by Flugelgal

Cows are nice and quiet
They don't complain too much
They have a simple diet
Of grass and hay and such

I like them as my neighbours
They don't mind the sound
That comes from all my labours
When flugelating all year round!

I think it's rather funny
to think the cow's so fine
As I'm not a major fan
of everything bovine

They tend toward the dirty
and all they say is "moo"
But the worst about them is
they always smell of poo!

;)

Have you tried rhyming
You really don't know
If you're any good
Till you give it a go

This thread has been silent
For a little wee while
So come on get posting
And make us all smile

You've all seen my efforts
Come on, don't be shy
Have a go at rhyming
Please give it a try!! :-D

On visiting this thread,
many rhymes I have read,
and some of them really are witty,
but some of them aren't,
and although technically I can't
I have to say they are s#itty.

Now, don't take offence,
and tell me " go hence "
and multiply (that would be naughty)
the effort put in,
has made many grin,
despite comments sometimes quite haughty.

Now its my turn to add,
lines undoubtedly sad,
and corny, if not down-right naff,
but I had to chip in,
to not do's a sin,
'cos posting here's been quite a laff!

(excuse the chronic spelling! all in the name of artistic lisence!)

How now smelly cow?

These cows seem nice and pally,
and you believe they are content,
to listen to your flugeling,
with ne'er a discontent...

but consider this, my sonorous friend
to your ignorance there may be an end,
this willingness is double-sided,
a cow in me has since confided...

whilst playing with such soul and heart,
those cows around you munch and F4RT!
as Shakespeare said, (I heard him mention)
to flugelate or flatulate... THAT, is the question!

So if you find that they get smelly,
my advice is 'give it Welly!'
you'll find the louder that you play,
The more likely tis, they'll go away,
and so its your turn to laugh inside,
as they all search for a place to hide!

ed the euph should be ed the poet,
he is a mile better than me,
my rhymes are silly an dont i know it,
Variety with a capital V.

i merely post the first thing,
that pops into my head,
my lovable triangle goes ting,
and ive spent the last week in bed.

im really quite cold at the moment,
i spent the whole day in school,
i got abit of torment,
upon my entry, the fool.

its has been fun i must say,
to post these rhymes, to some peoples dismay,
i cannot rhyme to save my life,
but im trying my bestest, and i dont live in fife
