How Do I Stop ...........................

..I know this has been mentioned before but , sorry to say, I didn't understand how to do it.
Maybe someone can explain (in plain english) how I stop getting e mail notification of responses to threads

Hi Heather

You go to...

User CP > Edit Options > Default Thread Subscription Mode > Do Not Subscribe

Which will then not send you any email notifications when someone replies to a thread you have posted within.

If you want to subscribe to a specific thread, you can do this within the thread itself.

I don't really mind but my hubby gets fed up with it!....think it interferes with all his Bolton Wanderers Google Message Alerts!!!!!!!!!..yawn!
