I got 11 out of 12 too but I got the baseball one right (thanks to channel 5 at night when I'm at work!!!!)

11/12, got the baseball one wrong. Sensing a pattern here, but I don't think we should feel too bad - have you ever met an American who knows the offside rule?! :wink:

I think I know it: The referee calls offside when a defensive player crosses the line of scrimmage before the offensive team snaps the ball :D!! The penalty is five yards!!


Of course, you're probably talking about English football . . .

11 - even when they gave me the answer to the baseball question I didn't understand it... why have games where it's more difficult to understand the rules than it is to play the game???

8. Oh dear. Should have got the baseball one, knew there were 3 outs for each side, but forgot that an innings means both teams bat.
