paul m8 theres probably lots of st andrews churches in liverpool so an area might be nice!! and i would post it myself but i dont know wot my mother has done with the sheet of paper that could tell me all about it!

I think you have to appreciate that any band (unless Irish possibly) would find it very difficult to fill a concert program with irish music, but they're in there somewhere and they're sounding really good.

IRISH TUNE FROM COUNTY DERRY

"IRISH TUNE FROM COUNTY DERRY" is the 'definitave' arrangement of 'Londonderry Air' or 'Danny Boy' by PERCY GRAINGER. Originally for Military (Wind) Band, transcribed/arranged for brass band by Dennis Wright I believe. The ONLY time I have ever heard it played by a brass band was in the filn "Brassed Off". Why ANY band can play any other arrangement is a mystery, this is THE definitave arrangement.
