We are a VERY HARD working band in the BURTON-ON -TRENT area.

Trombone Player Wanted

Gresley Old Hall Band are looking for a Experienced Trombone player.
Conductor:DAVID HUTCHINSON
1st Section Midlands Area.
Band are going to Butlins Contest in January and have a Major Concert in Burton Town Hall in October plus engagements for December and also into next year as well.
We are about 3 mile from Burton On Trent.
Practise on
Tuesdays 8-10
Thursdays 8.30-10
Practise at GRESLEY OLD HALL CHURCH GRESLEY SWADLINCOTE
There is also a bar as well FREE MEMBERSHIP TO GRESLEY OLD HALL CLUB AS MEMBER OF BAND.
We also have a very active social side as well with plenty going on throughout the year.

Percussion Wanted Perminant Position

Gresley Old Hall Band - Burton On Trent Area MIDLANDS(1st Section ) require a 2nd Percussion player to be part of a good team and friendly band.
Band practise on Tuesday 8-10 and Thursday 8.30 -10.
Very hard working and commited band with a great Musical Director.
Contests at Butlins and Midlands Area for 2006 with some very exciting Concerts throughout the year.
Band have a good social side as well.

Tuned Percussion Player required

Gresley Colliery Band based in South Derbyshire require a Tuned Percussionist player. This rare opportunity to join the Midlands First Section Champions is due to the current player moving to University in September.

The Band are currently rehearsing for upcoming engagements and also for the National Finals in September. David Hirst will be directing the band for the Harrogate Finals and this is an exciting chance to join this lively and ambitious band.

We are easy to reach, being 5 miles away from Burton on Trent as well as enjoying good links to A511, A444, M1 and M42.

Gresley Colliery Band also require a 2nd Baritone player in addition to the Tuned Percussion vacancy.

We are a hard-working, ambitious and serious band who enjoy rehearsals and are looking forward to representing the Midlands as First Section Champions in the National Finals in Harrogate.
