(apologies can't remember who won 3rd and 4th section) and many thanks to wingates for letting the youth brass members gate crash your party...although sorry for leaving so early i had to go chase an annoying lost and completely drunk little person!

On a Dutch brassband forum (www.brassinfo.nl), the following results were reported:
1. Wingates
2. Flowers
3. Aeolus (France)
4. Rotzkreuz (Switzerland)

the order of the other 5 participants in the highest section was not reported apparently...

Woohoo! France was great :D
I don't think they awarded a second place Lynchie!
Cocktail bar was wicked, although we didn't really get much time in there  I was also a little interested as to why the waitress didn't know what pommes frites were... took half an hour to get her to realise!
and as for the annoying little drunk girl we had to find...TWICE...grr!

Yes, T'was a fantastic weekend. Good friends, good playing, good weather and good ale. Well done to Wingates. By the way, if anyone bumps into Murray Borthwick, can they remind him that a sock is for wearing on your foot and not anything else!
