Fortismere Community Brass (London) - Vacancies

Fortismere Community Brass, starting in March 2013, is London's newest brass band. We're looking for players on most parts so if you're looking for a bit of extra practice or don't find you have time to commit to more "serious" bands, come on down!


Rehearsals will be on Saturdays 10:00 am to 12.00 pm starting 2nd March at Fortismere Music Centre (Tetherdown, Muswell Hill, N10 1NE). Both enthusiastic learners and more experienced players are welcome. The band will be conducted by Paul Hooper a teacher and professional musician, currently principal Trombone of the Irish Guards band.

Further to my earlier post, we have had significant interest and are now looking for a front row cornet, a baritone and basses to complete our line-up. If you play another instrument but are interested, please still get in touch as we may be able to move players round to accommodate.

Having got off to an excellent start, Fortismere Community Brass has taken the decision to move rehearsals to Friday evenings 7:45-9:45pm, so that we have access to better rehearsal facilities.
