Forfeit for failing the acronym task!

You are aware by now that you failed the acronym task (silly Seedhouse ;) ) - so here's your forfeit. However, there is a twist.

This forfeit takes the form of a quiz of 9 questions. BB will reward you should answer any question correctly. Housemates must first nominate a person to answer the questions on behalf of the group - BB will only accept the answers given by this housemate (and will only accept the first answers given by this housemate). The name of the housemate chosen to post the answers (in this thread) must be announced by 10am tomorrow morning. The answers to the questions must then be posted by 3pm.

And here's the twist! ;)

At 4pm, for each correct answer given, BB will post an image. Each image is a piece from a 'doctored' version of the person behind the username of 'kitten'.

Therefore should the housemates successfully piece together the jigsaw - yo uwill know the identity of your latest housemate.

So, the questions:

  • 1. In what year was Black Dyke formed?

    2. Which composer reputedly helped Edward Elgar with the brass band scoring of The Severn Suite?

    3. In what year were the Canadian Brass formed?

    4. How is the name John Webb known throughout brass circles?

    5. An arrangement of a famous piano work occupied the B side of the Brighouse and Rastrick 1977 single The Floral Dance. Name the work.

    6. Which famous brass band personality's centenary was celebrated in 1995?

    7. 'I'm an anomalous urinated divot' is an anagram of a well known composition, popular with lower section bands in own choice contests. Name the piece (10, 2, 7, 7)

    8. Name this long time tMP contributor and publisher:

    9. Name this internationally renowned brass soloist:
