Ok heres a poser, was looking for the Flower Duet from Lakme (the Eb/Bb duet) and have come across three arrangements :

Sparke, Williams, Langford

Which, in peoples considered opinion, is better?

Mr Sparke's arrangement is class , dont know if it is still available , but Romance in Brass Vol 1 Leyland Daf ( Polyphonic 1991) , it's a class recording.some brilliant playing
Fanfare romance and finale ( used in a bupa advert )
Song of the Seashore
Flower Duet...
brilliant stuff on it...

Roger Payne also did an arrangement for me and the first horn player at Newcastle Brown Ale Band in the mid 90's - we thought it was quite good!!! I'm not sure if it's in print but you certainly have my permission to use it and could possibly get it from Chester-le-Street Riverside Band. It's for two horns (obviously)

Just to add (in case of retribution) my permission probably means very little!
