Anyway, I have loads of swapsies.

Me and my brother used to collect those, my mum hated it! I used to love getting the shiny ones but i alwas ended up with about 10 of the same one so annoying. Dont think i could afford to do it now - its tragic when i was 10 i was richer than am now!

missed out on all this when I was a kid... it was difficult to think of a good reason why my mum should buy me stickers... the only thing I ever had a lot of was those pog things because I got a few and then it turned out I was pretty good so managed to get hundreds off other people (always play for keeps!! :twisted: )

I could have swapped some Scottish players with you.... ah hold on, Scotland aren't in Euro 2004, (or generally any major football competition).

(of course England qualified so easily with plenty of points to spare - not by the skin of their teeth at all) :twisted:

I still have a very fetching Peter Beardsley sticker from my 1996 FA album that I couldn't face sticking in the book if that's any good to you.

Qualification by England was automatic my friend. We didn't have to go through the play offs or 'owt like that.

I do feel for Scotland. I'm just pleased the Faroe Islands weren't in our qualification group :lol:

I know you and Ross will be cheering for England come Sunday!!

As for Peter Beardsley, I heard that when he was at Newcastle the boss said that he was bringing in some new faces. Beardsley asked for one of them.....
