Duets for Flugel/Horn?

As Moy and I have the misfortune of sitting next to each other at band now (ok - it's her misfortune and my good fortune :roll: ), we are trying to find some stuff that we can play together outwith band, so that we can be a better team.

Do any of you know of any books of NOT TOO EASY duets for Flugel and Eb Tenor Horn or anything we can have a look at?

Good idea though about duet...not a lot of Eb/Bb duets about.

Hmmmm.......the only flugel/horn duet I can think of at the mo' is an arrangement of Don't it Make My Brown Eyes Blue which is ultimate cheese, way too easy for players of your class (please make cheques payable to I.Hayto esq)and probably not what you're looking for. I'm sure there must be others though.......

The last time I played it was with a big bear of a bloke, a British born kiwi (if you know what I mean) with a 'tache and only half a thumb. Great guy mind and also callled Ian. To complete the picture I'm 6'4" and we did it complete with mock flirting to each other - now how wrong is that? :evil:

I quite like cheese too. The flugel part can be easier than the horn part of course, as Moy can handle more tricky stuff than me. (Something about experience I believe... :wink: )

can you transpose??? Mentally or write them out (good ol' Sibelius :wink: )m the Arban duets are classic. My teacher and I used to do them all the time (tuba and eupho, sweet pairing!)
