Cornet - Edinburgh and surrounding area

Following a lay off of six months I have been getting my lip in with a view to doing some playing. Due to work travel commitments I am not around till the beginning of December.

My normal work commitments make playing in any band on a regular basis difficult, and I also won't do contests which limits my appeal to any band round here! On the up side I make a nice sound and can play most music I am pointed at.

Well I got a couple of offers, but they were too far away for travel in the congestion round Edinburgh in the early evening. There isn't much brass playing of any kind round here which makes me wonder how many kids leaving school keep playing afterwards.
