Anyone know where I can get a copy of the original ensemble composition and/or a good quality recording of it?

It was originally written for PJBE, of course, and as far as I know only exists in m/s. Try

I do have a dreadful recording of it - dreadful because of the sound quality (it was recorded from Radio 3 years ago and is very hissy) and I have to say the playing isn't very good either - and that's PJBE! Must have been a bad day at the office.
