I've been looking for a recording of this piece since I played it a few years ago!
Does anyone have any idea if it's available on CD?

I think it was written for the Amsterdam Staff Band in the 1980's.
I was at Cobham Hall (National School of Music) when the A Band attempted it in rehearsal.
I am aware that Kettering Band have a set of parts but am not aware if they have used it.
As far as recordings are concerned, maybe an Amsterdam Staff Band CD has it but I can't be definate on that.

There are a couple of recordings, including a good one by the Melbourne Staff. When I'm back at work on Tuesday I'll look up the details and post them for you.

The two recordings I'm aware of are the Melbourne Staff Band on "MSB90" and the Amsterdam Staff Band on ""Life Abundant".

Thanks for that. And now to the next obvious question - any idea where I get the CDs from - I presume I could order them direct from the bands in question?

According to the Amsterdam Staff Band website "Life Abundant" is no longer available:

The Melbourne Staff Band site only lists their more recent recordings, but it may be worth emailing them to see:
