I am very sorry to hear of the death of Bram Tovey. Over the past 20 years he provided some of the very best musical highlights at the RNCM Festival of Brass, many of which were his own compositions. I will always have great memories of hearing his Requiem for A Charred Skull, Pictures in the Smoke and Nine Daies Wonder for the first time at the festival, amongst many other pieces. He was an inspirational conductor, musician and communicator.

Such a profound loss on so many levels.
