Resurgam
Shine as the light
The call of the righteous
My strength my tower (great cornet solo in this 1)
Songs in exile

This is a brass band website only in the sense we all play in/are associated with them. Sometimes we have other things to talk about though!

We had a thread a few months ago about best pieces of music ( I'm sure someone will give a link). Outside of bands and probably icluding band pieces my favourite music is Pavane by Faure and Barber's Adagio

PRAGUE

My favourite must be PRAGUE(although I havn't heard it yet!!!)

I am thinking of competing by composing another 'note game' called BRNO - should be finished by suppertime.

If you like a piece, you could always arrange it for Brass Band. then select it in this forum!

Diversions on a Bass Theme for me, although why do all his pieces end on a major scale? I think George Lloyd was trying to reassert tonality, and finish his pieces with "use these notes and not any note row rubbish!"
