Another Sop - we seem to be taking over!

Hi,

I've been lurking on this forum for a good year or so, so it's time to introduce myself.

If you're from round Oxford/Didcot, you'll probably know me as Alex Lakeland, and I played trumpet for years (still do on occasion). If there's any old CMS/OYBB/OCYO guys out there - Hi!

Nowadays I'm Alex Elderfield and I play sop for Kidlington Concert Brass, just north of Oxford, although I started off with them on tenor horn. I have to say, playing sop is great fun if a little obvious when you screw up!

Hi! Sop is the tops! Been playing it since I was 9, now am many years older than that! I lived round your way until 18 months ago so I know many of the people you will know! Started at Wantage, now moved to Buxton and love it up here, much more banding opportunities!
