I heard all the bands at the Midlands area. Not a bad show by all bands, soloist let a lot of the bands down. But all the bands had some good points and playing. I think Resurgam is a good test for 2nd section and will probably be used by bands for own choice.

I listened to the whole 2nd section on Sunday at Bedworth. I got the 1st and 2nd places right and the last four however the middle results I got completely the wrong way. It would be good to see how those middle order band's remarks read. Would also just like to say well done to all band...

Might get to meet you this year Laser if we are both there. Think i will go anyway, Cheltenham is great.

Is there more than one room for sections to run at this venue, sorry never seen it. Just wondered if they would be running different sections during the day instead of after eachother. Might help 3rd section on sunday (finishing late!!!)

Not only is this a great venue, but Cheltenham its self is a lovely town (Lived there for 3years) plently of pubs/clubs all within walking distance. I'm pretty sure there will be enough beds to sleep of bandperson as when the racers are on there are thousands of people there all staying...

Would be a good test for 3rd section but at the end of the day it is a test piece, so could happen :rolleyes:
