That's good news. I ran through it last rehearsal and the band liked it. Suits the strengths of our band. Last time I played it was at college in 87! Still got plenty to offer I reckon. Any time I've heard it since bands have tried to play it too fast IMO

Totally agree Dave. Some of the new Euphs are just massive. My weapon of choice was always the "Pre Lottery grant" Besson Soveriegn 967 of late 80,s vintage. I played a York for a while and never really got on with it. It felt like I was a passenger rather than a player and got minimal feedback...
Invest in a decent practice mute - they really help build up your sound IMO.
A decent Euph player should be like a good tenor voice. I have always been of the opinion that your sound is what makes you stand out as a player. Technique is very important of course but if you don't sound great it...
I need to replace the cable on my Silent Brass system
To me it looks like a standard 3.5 - 3.5" jack lead with a single ring on each connector
My question is - do I need to buy the original at around £25??
Or would a visit to my local Maplins do the trick ?
