The difference is that the "play-off"is,as you say-immediate.therefore you could get one band playing last in one group and then having to play first,on the SAME PIECE in the play-offs-not much time to recover after giving it your all.

No doubt someone will correct if im wrong but I havent seen anything from the organisers statement saying on which day the "play-off"will take place.If they are thinking of using one of the two halls the first section have already used,surely three of the qualifying bands have an unfair...

having just read the results for both Saddleworth and Tameside regions it got me thinking as to what constitutes entry to the junior/youth sections i.e what age limit is imposed,how many if any adults you are allowed to play?
