I agree with you 2T, but then once a trombone player always a trombone player. There is nothing quite like a trio of trombones playing together in harmony.
As for my favourite? Quite possibly the Yamaha 613H bass trombone I have now. I’ve had many instruments over the years, both tenor and bass...
I agree with MoominDave above, I have bought
Virtuosi Bb/F trombone
B&H Imperial “flying globe” straight tenor
Blessing Artist straight tenor
Yamaha YSL 352 tenor
Yamaha YBL 613H bass trombone all on eBay.....all untried and they were all good.
I sold them all again on eBay for pretty much what...
I have a 1984 B&H Imperial Euphonium that I have in a new model Tom &Will gigbag. It’s fine, but what do people think are better ones? I have no hard case for it as it came without. I walk to band practice (about 10 minutes) so a gig bag is ideal.
I have looked at the Fusion bags but are they...
Anyone got a metal grime gutter they are willing to sell? To fit a 1984 Imperial euph. I can’t find one anywhere.

And 2nd Tenor.......I will be back. There’s no way on earth I’m parting with my bass trombone!
I’m looking to buy myself a Euphonium and have narrowed it down to a compensating Imperial or Round Stamp Sovereign. Must be in low pitch. These would appear to be as rare as hens teeth. If anyone knows where I can acquire one I would be most grateful.
I’ve just switched from bass trombone to euphonium.
The band have lent me a Besson International (BE765) 4 valve non compensating euph whose serial number dates it to 1999. It’s a nice light euph, although tending to be sharp higher up the register (just me perhaps?)
I played bumper euph in a...
Thanks all, I've just picked up a 2nd hand heavy duty K&M off ebay and it would seem to be just the job. Still wish I'd not sold the original Hamilton though.....shame their stands are so flimsy by comparison now!
