Hello - Just joined

Hello, all. My name is Pat. I play trombone (was my major instrument in college) & euphonium (minor instrument). I've been playing them for 50 years & 42 years respectively. I'm thinking my trombone days might be over because of joint damage (shoulders, right wrist, lower back). I've had a shoulder surgery that got me 3 years of playing, but now both shoulders are worse that before the surgery. I have switched to euphonium 100% for the last month. No pain so far. Unfortunately my fingering technique isn't nearly as good as my slide technique, but I'm working on it.

I'm happy to join this gang of brass fanatics.

It shouldn't be that bad, it's getting through the Dartford Tunnel which is the Cruncher
You'll have to be his substitute then Slider (sigh) The password into Wales in Nos Da Cariad. Go through the border patrols, 3rd exit at the roundabout, past the sheep field and there we are. One sugar or two in your tea?

No milk or Sugar ta. but unfortunately I'm busy elsewhere. Good luck with your search and I wish your guy a speedy recovery, Cheers.

Thank you X Visited him tonight and he's doing remarkably well. He's eating soft food now so next time I will be sure to eat maltesers in front of him. (his favourites) On a serious note, anytime you're up in our area you're very welcome to join us for a blow and a brew and maybe a pint in The Poachers afterwards.
