Default What would you arrange?

If you had the skill/ knowledge, etc, to arrange any piece of music you wanted, what music would you arrange for brass band that hasn't been arranged already?

I'd love to see an arrangement of 'It was a very good year' by Frank Sinatra, and 'I will talk and Hollywod will listen' by robbie Williams.

I'd also arrange something stupid like the ketchup song or something because it would be hilarious, and would sound ridiculous!

"Bat out of Hell" or "Dead Ringer for Love".

The latter could be set up as a duet

Wasn't it part of your contract rehearsing the band to arrange these pieces?

Mika - Grace Kelly.

Would be really groovy!

Anything by Mika come to think of it. The basses would have some proper cheese to play!

Oh yes - well I played that last year with a band and yes it had a great EEb bass line at the begining.

Someone's already arranged it?

There are people out there who really don't deserve the life that is given to them

Great idea! I love a bit of cheese, Mika's Lollipop would be even better!

- be a devil ...& put it down to "experience"!

There's quite a few things I would like to see arranged for band, only if copyright permission could be given for them

Nina Simone's Sinnerman - used in the Thomas Crown affair remake- with the clapping solo in the middle could be a great entertainment piece.

I've always wondered how a Phantom of the Opera medley would sound if the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Iron Maiden versions were somehow fused......
