What are the Classic Soprano Cornet Obligatos?
"You can't call yourself a soprano player, unless you can play the classic soprano obligato in: [xxx]."
To kick off, how about:
1. The Army of the Nile
2. The Stars & Stripes Forever
3. Amparito Roca?
What other gems are out there that the aspiring soprano player needs to master?
And what about more modern arrangements that feature soprano obligatos?

There's an old march by R.B. (Robert Browne) Hall called The New Colonial that has a sop. obligato part.

Some of the examples don't qualify as "Obligato's" but, continuing on the expanded list of examples you have to include Diadem of Gold. Not an obligato but a wonderful piece of writing for sop.

Yes John, I agree, the brief I had suggested of "soprano obligatos" had definitely broadened into good or perhaps devilish writing for soprano. Nonetheless, people's thoughts still welcomed and interesting.
Any more true soprano obligatos hiding out there?
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions so far.
